HydroLab is a liquid hydrogen technology and testing infrastructure focused on the development, optimization and validation of critical components for LH2 distribution in airport, ground and flight environments.

The long-term vision of HydroLab is to create a complete national facility for testing technologies and processes for liquid hydrogen — a key enabling factor for green aviation, space, maritime transport, energy storage and distribution networks.
The project addresses liquid hydrogen distribution components for ground and flight applications, combining cryogenic technology, fluidic components, material compatibility, hydrogen gas technologies, chemical analysis and pilot renewable hydrogen production.

First hydrogen test samples.
Early embrittlement free material and component samples are being tested in hydrogen in collaboration with one of the Academic institutions involved in the HydroLab ecosystem. These activities support the material compatibility, validation and qualification path for future liquid hydrogen components and infrastructure.

HydroLab targets the design and validation of innovative cryogenic elements, including hermetic pumps, valves, heat exchangers and high energy density LH2 tank concepts for ground and flight applications.
